Stevia

IMG_0224
Just last week I was at the Engredea Expo and came across a booth introducing Stevia. It was a fairly new product that I only have heard once in Vancouver. Hearing this product twice now brings my full attention that Stevia is definitely worth knowing about. This sweetener is derived from plant and is found in Paraguay and Brazil and has been used for thousands of years as a sweetener. Many food industries in North America are now replacing Sucralose with Stevia. In the next few years, STEVIA is going to be big on the market.. Less people are going to use Sucralose and Aspartame since these two are artificial sweeteners..

Some Stevia Benefits
-Sweeter than Sucralose, table sugar, aspartame…
-Natural sweetener extracted from plant source
-lowers blood pressure
-ZERO calories
-the ONLY alkalizing sweetener (if you missed my alkalizing post click HERE)

Hi loves! Hope you all are having a great week so far! Over the weekend, I went to my very first flea market! I have been waiting for almost two months for the day to come! I was shocked at how big the flea market was and of course it was quite crowded! It took me several hours hunting for the perfect purchases!! The first purchase I got was the white vintage box. It was the perfect white box I had imagined. Pieces of gold accents with a brown structured strap! Quite surprised what I was able to find! Good purchases don’t just come from brand names ;) if you look hard enough you will find great designs anywhere. If you are also wondering I also purchased the high waisted skirt at the flea market as well!

Power of Pomegranate

IMG_2429

When I first encountered pomegranate I had a hard time getting the fruits out as I wasn’t aware of the water method. If you guys don’t know about the water method your definitely missing out. Start by cutting the pomegranate in half and prepare a large bowl with cold water. Taking the first half of the fruit emmerse it in water and start removing the seeds. You will notice that the white membranes of the fruit will start floating on top and the seeds will sink down. It’s easy as 123!! There’s definitely no excuse to not eat pomegranate now!

I know I know you guys are probably wondering where I took these photos. It’s been raining for the last couple days with a huge storm in LA. Nope, I didn’t go anywhere. I took these photos a few weeks back in LA when it was bright and sunny! I miss the sun so much I can’t wait when I see the next sunshine!

Do you guys notice my socks pairing with heels again? I love this look so much, if you missed my first post on it, click HERE. This time if you notice it’s the same print but in a different color! I love how these socks really elongated my legs, the power of those lines! I pretty much paired my look from dark to light. The color for my outfit is pretty dark and that is why the socks pairing is pretty acceptable. Keep the outfit as simple as you can and just add a touch to finish off. This way you have some sort of focus and it’s not all over the place. Enjoy the rest of the week!
